Story
Green Feather Valley, isolated from the outside world, was the peaceful homeland of the cheerful Chicks. Thanks to its fertile lands, the Chicks lived happily, engaging in farming and animal husbandry. At the heart of the valley stood an ancient oak tree, and hidden within its roots was the Magic Seed, which ensured the valley's bounty. Their wise leader, Father Guleli, guarded this secret and warned the Chicks against the dangers of the outside world.
Poje, who lived in the valley, had lost his family to the Foxmen years ago and lived with a burning desire for revenge. Clumsy but sweet Garden was Poje's beloved and always supported him. Mischievous and curious Gunda dreamed of exploring the valley's borders. While the days passed peacefully, Father Guleli's warnings and the threat of the outside world always loomed like a shadow.
One day, on the windy cliffs, Gunda saw a large army of Foxmen approaching the valley. He immediately ran to the village with Bobo, warning father Guleli and the other Chicks. The Foxmen's age-old animosity and their ambition to seize the Magic Seed had been rekindled. Fueled by their past resentment towards the Chicks for refusing to share the Magic Seed, they had come to conquer the valley and steal the seed.
Father Guleli called the Chicks to defense. The men armed themselves, while the women and children took refuge in hidden caves. However, before the battle began, Garden, along with her mother and others, fell into an ambush by the Foxmen while heading to the caves. In fear, she told the Foxmen about the power of the Magic Seed to grow plants. Upon hearing this, the Foxmen mercilessly killed Garden's mother and the others, but spared Garden's life. The screams of this massacre reached the valley.
Poje and Gunda rushed to the source of the sounds and were met with a horrifying sight. Poje saw Garden sitting among the Foxmen with a blank expression. He desperately called out to her, but Garden did not respond. The Foxmen killed Poje in front of Garden's eyes. This event deeply shook the Chicks.
Thanks to the plan they learned from Garden, the Foxmen thwarted the Chicks' plant-growing tactics. They set the growing plants on fire, catching the Chicks off guard. A fierce battle ensued. Although the Chicks fought heroically, they were helpless against the Foxmen's cunning and numerical superiority. Many Sonichicks, including Bobo, lost their lives.
Father Guleli was helpless as his colony perished before his eyes. However, to save both the remaining Chicks and the Magic Seed, he devised a clever plan. He sent Gunda north with a fake Magic Seed, distracting a portion of the Foxmen. He himself took the remaining Sonichicks and set off through secret paths to a safe place called Soniclands.
However, the Foxmen realized the plan and split into two groups. One group followed Gunda, while the other caught up with father Guleli and his colony. The Chicks were cornered in a narrow passage. father Guleli refused to give the Magic Seed to the Foxmen. In desperation, Father Guleli struck the real Magic Seed into the ground, creating a giant, thorny cactus. The cactus destroyed the Foxmen, but also engulfed Father Guleli. With his last breath, Father Guleli told the Chicks to find Soniclands and establish a new home as "Sonichicks."
Thanks to Father Guleli's sacrifice, the surviving Sonichicks, despite suffering a great loss, embarked on a long and arduous journey to Soniclands with new hope. Although Father Guleli's wise guidance was no longer with them, his last words and sacrifice showed them the way. While painful memories remained fresh in their hearts, they carried within them the hope of a new beginning as they moved towards the unknown.
